This is a traditional Welsh mountain farm keeping Welsh Mountain Sheep and Welsh Black Cattle. During the farming year visitors are often to be seen watching the sheep shearing, the lambing and gathering the sheep in the traditional way on foot with sheepdogs.

Situated at the foot of the mountain of Moel Siabod, Bryn Tirion is an ideal base for walking the many paths around Dolwyddelan, and other parts of Snowdonia.

The farm is situated in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and is convenient for travelling to many of its attractions including:

  • the popular village of Betws-y-Coed (6 miles)
  • Llechwedd Slate Mines & Ffestiniog Railway at Blaenau Ffestiniog (5 miles)
  • the Italianate village of Portmeirion (10 miles)
  • Porthmadog (11 miles)
  • Bodnant Gardens (18 miles)
  • and the seaside resort of Llandudno (25 miles).
