Accommodation Details

Tyddyn Du is located above the Conwy Valley in North Wales, close to the market town of Llanrwst. A traditional farmhouse with a substantial garden, ideal as a play area for children, Tyddyn Du offers a homely welcome, with oak beams, oak doors and deep window sills evoking a sense of the past. A hearty Welsh breakfast awaits you, vegetarian on request. The bedroom, which has a private bathroom, has recently been redecorated with a double bed and a bunk bed, and can be used as a double room or family room. A homely and quiet time is guaranteed. Special discounts for children.

It enjoys spectacular views of Snowdonia, with one particular view-point offering an ideal location for any artist, and is also within five miles of Betws-y-Coed. The farm itself is a busy one, keeping traditional Welsh Black cattle and Welsh Mountain Sheep, a breed with which the family have gained successes at both local and national shows. Mr Williams is skilled in making shepherd crooks and examples of these can be seen around the house.
